EASTHAMPTON, MASSACHUSETTS — bankESB recently announced that Barbara Yanke has been promoted to senior vice president, residential lending. In this role, she will lead the retail lending sales and operations for bankESB as well as for its parent company Hometown Financial Group’s family of banks, including bankHometown and Abington Bank.
Yanke joined bankESB as vice president in August 2017, bringing more than two decades of experience in lending, much of it with Peoples United Bank where she was vice president, residential and consumer lending manager.
She serves on the Worcester Community Housing Resources, Property Development Committee and as board president of the YWCA of Western Massachusetts.
Yanke and her family live in Easthampton and Wilmington, Vermont.
