Easthampton, Massachusetts, November 6, 2019 – Matthew S. Sosik, President and CEO of bankESB, announced that Thomas P. Florence joined the Bank as Vice President of Government Banking.

Prior to joining bankESB, Florence worked for the Town of East Longmeadow, MA, as Town Clerk, Treasurer/Tax Collector from 2003 to 2016; and Clerk of the Council from 2016 to 2019. Prior to working for the Town of East Longmeadow, Florence worked as a Plant Controller for Hercules, Inc., located in Chicopee, MA, and as a Divisional Controller for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, located in Springfield, MA.

Florence received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and an MBA from Western New England University. He resides in West Springfield, MA.
