Easthampton, Massachusetts – The Easthampton Savings Bank Foundation presented a check for $3,000 to the Easthampton Community Center. Their website will provide information on services and assistance to residents of the greater Easthampton area.
With the updated website, the center will focus on serving local residents and those in need of assistance with a strong social media presence. The updated website will make it easier for those in need to find out about the services they offer and also provide a user friendly online portal for donations to aid in fundraising efforts.
“We are very grateful to bankESB in supporting the redesign of our website. bankESB has been a great supporter of the Easthampton Community Center and our mission to serve those in need in our community,” said Robin Bialecki, Executive Director of the Center.
Currently, their Food Pantry and Meal Programs are distributing over 600,000 meals each year to those in need and servicing over 3,600 individuals with healthy, nutritious food for themselves and their families. Additionally, the Center provides thousands of referrals to local agencies that provide fuel assistance, as well as helping with rental and utility bills. On site they have an agent that implements SNAP (Food Stamp) and Mass Health applications. The Center has a 46 year history of assisting residents of the greater Easthampton area.
