EASTHAMPTON, MA - We would like to give a warm welcome back to Christopher Tarbox, a recent graduate of the University of Hartford, with a degree in Business Administration and Economics/Finance. Chris participated in our bankESB Summer Internship Program in the Commercial Credit Department, and continued as a part-time employee while he completed his degree during the fall semester. Chris has returned as a full-time Credit Analyst, working under the direction of Rob Wheten, Vice President and Commercial Credit Officer.
As a Credit Analyst, Chris will perform analysis on assigned credit accounts handled by the Commercial Loan Department, analyze annual financial statements and reports, make interpretative analysis of financial statements and prepare memoranda for use in loan decision making, along with several other tasks and responsibilities.
Rob Wheten noted, “Not only does the internship program provide valuable experience to people entering the workforce, it also provides an opportunity for the Bank to see the potential in talented individuals who might not otherwise get a chance to demonstrate what they can do. We saw that in Chris, and we are excited to welcome him to the Commercial Loan department.”
We at bankESB are delighted with the success of the internship program, and plan to continue the program.
