Easthampton, Massachusetts – Matthew S. Sosik, president and CEO of bankESB, announced that the bank recently donated $2,500 to sponsor the town of Hatfield’s 350th Anniversary celebration.
The sponsorship will help fund various events taking place as part of the town’s year-long celebration. The festivities will begin on December 31, 2019, with a New Year’s Eve Gala to be held at the Log Cabin Restaurant in Holyoke. Other events scheduled throughout the year include a road race, parades, a bonfire, and tours of historic homes and cemeteries. The celebration will culminate with a fireworks display on December 19, 2020.
“As a local bank, bankESB is dedicated to supporting the communities where our valued customers and employees live and work,” said Sosik. “This historic milestone is a great opportunity to celebrate Hatfield’s rich history and to bring local people together.”
