Easthampton, Massachusetts – Matthew S. Sosik, President and CEO of bankESB, recently announced the following promotions.
Karen Craig was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Branch Officer of the Northampton Office, located at 297 King Street. Craig joined the Bank in February of 2001 as Assistant Branch Manager in the Hadley Office, and was promoted to Branch Officer of the King Street Office in May 2012. Craig is active in many community organizations, including the Food Bank of Western MA, Interfaith Cot Shelter, Leeds Association, Dakin Animal Shelter, Northampton Chamber of Commerce and the Northampton Rotary Club. Craig resides in Leeds, MA.
Michelle Raskevitz was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Learning and Development. Raskevitz joined the Bank in June 1994 and became Training Officer in April 2006. Raskevitz holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Greenfield Community College, as well as multiple diplomas and certificates from the Center of Financial Training. Raskevitz graduated with honors from the New England School for Financial Studies in 2013. Raskevitz has an extensive list of community involvement and volunteer experience, involving Junior Achievement, Relay for Life, Credit for Life, and is part of the School Council at Easthampton High School. Raskevitz resides in Easthampton, MA.
Stacey Tower was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Strategic Project Management Officer. Tower joined the Bank in 2001 and worked in both Retail Banking and Operations before joining the Information Technology Department in 2008 as a Project Coordinator. In 2010, Tower attended the internationally recognized Project Management Institute, where she earned the designation of Certified Assistant Project Manager (CAPM). In 2012, Tower graduated from the New England School for Financial Studies with honors. Tower holds an Associate’s degree from Holyoke Community College and she is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Studies from Bay Path College. Tower resides in Easthampton, MA.
Sandra Brakey was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Loan Administration Manager. Brakey joined the Bank in September 2010 as a Commercial Loan Assistant, and was promoted to Loan Administration Manager in 2018. Brakey resides in Windsor, CT.
Alison McCoy was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Compliance and CRA Officer. McCoy joined the Bank in 2015 as a Compliance Specialist and became a Compliance Specialist and CRA Officer in 2018. McCoy holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Western New England University of Law, a Masters of Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts, and a Bachelors degree from Bard College. McCoy attended the American Bankers Association Foundation and Intermediate Compliance Schools, as well as the New England School for Financial Studies. McCoy serves as a member of the Eastern MA Compliance Network, Treasurer of the Western MA Compliance Association, a member of the Worcester Community Housing Resources Loan Committee, a board member of the Easthampton Community Center, and a member of the MA Division of Banks Mortgage Review Board. McCoy resides in Easthampton, MA
Meagan Barrett was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Human Resources. Barrett joined the Bank in 2008 as a Human Resources Assistant, and was promoted to Human Resources Officer in 2016. Barrett completed an Employee Engagement Specialist Certificate Program (EESC) and maintains her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification. Barrett is active in the community, serving on the Easter Seals 5K planning committee and coaching youth soccer. Barrett resides in West Springfield, MA.
